Wonderfully rustic from the outside but delightfully decorated inside with all the required modern comforts. The host's assistance with drop off and parking was much appreciated. "Pros: The apartment is a gem on the peninsula of Rovinj's old town. It is nestled in the narrow alleyways underneath the beautiful church dominating the peninsula's skyline. The apartment is new on the market (the host said we were the second tenants) and everything inside is brand new and shining. The kitchen is excellently equipped including with coffee maker and washing machine. Communication with the host was excellent after the initial difficulty. I will happily come and stay here again. Cons: The information on how to reach the apartment initially was not well described. I thought I could drive up to the apartment only to find out cars are not allowed in the old town. The host's telephone number was well "hidden" in the communication with Booking.com and it took time to find the correct one. The "free" parking turns out to be some street side elsewhere in Rovinj 1/2 hour on foot away. The promised arrangement for a golf cart type transport for our luggage did not work out and we had to repack our luggage and carry the essentials to the apartment instead." ~Wilfried
