"Pros: The villa comprises three buildings (each with air-con) surrounding the pool/courtyard, with the main building having a kitchen/dining area, two double bedrooms and a shower/WC, and the two other buildings being en-suite double bedrooms with shower/WCs. Other rooms around the courtyard include a separate living room, kitchenette and WC. The villa is very private, with only a few other buildings on the other side of the road, and otherwise surrounded by open countryside. Imotski is accessible, with Lidl, Super-Konzum and Tommy supermarkets within 20mins drive, several restaurants (we enjoyed Euphoria) and the possibility to swim in the Blauer See. Makarska old town, beach and greater facilities is ~40mins drive, and provides a ferry (~50mins) to Sumartin/Brac (with less crowded swimming) . In addition, during our fortnight, we enjoyed day trips to Split, Trogir, Mostar and Krka National Park (where we would recommend stopping to swim at Skradin beach, rather than Roski Slap). Bring a mask/snorkel to enjoy the sea-life. Our host (Ante) was always available on WhatsApp, if necessary. Cons: Nothing, though a car is essential, and the roads single-track for the last mile to the villa!" ~Neil999
