"Pros: Everything was perfect. Mljet is already an amazing island: wild, not very touristy, but full of potential activities (swimming in the sea and in the lakes, kayaking, walks, cycling, walking around the lakes). But this apartment, the village where it is situated, and Blazenka (the landlady) make it even better. The apartment is spacious, with everything you might need. It has a very nice balcony facing the small harbour and two of the village's small beaches (a few meters away). The ice on the cake is that Blazenka prepared dinners for us, with starters, fresh fish or octopus, vegetables from her garden and house wine. Blazenka is very kind and available and gave us plenty of suggestions on what to do (and where to go) in Mljet. Cons: The constant and repetitive emails and messages from Booking Direct (the agency that manages the booking on behalf of Blazenka) are a bit annoying" ~Mattia800

"Pros: This is an amazing, family-run place, with really sweet hosts! The room is simple, but has everything you need, including decent shower pressure. Not least the view from the balcony is just amazing and was juuust what I wanted from my little holiday. Crystal clear water and the perfect spot to jump in in the little harbour, and sunbeds right in front of the guest house. Eeeexcellent. I wasn't aware dinner was included in the price, which was a great bonus! Especially one of the nights was extra memorable with anchovies for starters, a traditional fish dish in tomato and onion for main and a caramel pudding at the end. The fact that the fish is caught by another family member obviously adds to the charm. Would very happily return to this place! Cons: Me and my friend were of the very few who arrived by taxi and didn't plan to rent a car, and we only wished there was an option of buying something super simple for lunch during the day, like a toast or something which would have made it possible to stay the whole day without being hungry. But on the other hand renting a car made us able to check out the national park which I'm really glad we did!" ~Nina
