"Pros: Our host, Ruža warmly welcomed us, with local liquor and coffee. We also received a loaf of home-made bread, which is a nice touch, but was also quite convenient. That is, Krasno is a remote location, and on weekends and holidays you may not rely on the small local grocery shop. Next day, Ruža surprised us with an offering of pastry that she prepared. Kids (and parents) really loved it. The apartment has 3 bedrooms with 8 beds, which is something we could not find easily in the vicinity. Krasno is the entry point to the national parks and it has snow when elsewhere in Croatia it melts. Alpine scenery in Krasno is something completely different from Croatian Adriatic and yet it's only 25 km away from the coast. I highly recommend visiting in any season."
