"Pros: The house is located in a very quiet and green area. From the terrace you get a view of the bay and the forest. The garden is fenced and thus ideal for a stay with your dog. What we liked the most was the hot tub and the wood stove. The wood was provided in the house with no additional costs and should you need help at any point the host lives only two doors down the street. We also found the place in a neat condition except that the shower leaked and one of the blinds was not working (this last one the host informed us about it). Overall we would recommend this place and might consider to come back if the same low season rates are available in the future. Cons: The internet was not reliable but we did not mind since we wanted to be "offline" for a few days. The bedroom has all that was needed however the mattress and pillows were not very comfortable. Note that the garden it's well kept but there are plants that can be toxic to dogs (for example: bay tree). Whenever we could not keep an eye on our young pup, we would put her muzzle on to make sure she did not eat any dangerous plants. The host was very warm and welcoming however she did not speak any English. Luckily one of us speaks some German so we could communicate. There was little information given about facilities, activities and check out (it was very unclear in which state should we leave the house since the information provided in booking.com and Novasol was different). It could also have been useful to know more about options for vegetarians in the area since we could not find any restaurants that would offer vegetarian dishes." ~Alba
