"Pros: This hostel is located in a typically Spanish style house with a beautiful courtyard filled with plants and a fountain.
The man who runs it is very nice and speaks enough English so that you can communicate.
It's clean and if your room is in the back you will be away from the noise on the street.
My room, a single twin bed, was ridiculously small. So small that there was no place to put my suitcase. There was no window so it felt very confined and it had no natural light. It felt like a prison cell. The bathroom was so small that I had to walk sideways in it to get to the shower.
I asked for a fan, which they gave me, but the irony was that there that the only place there was room for it was right in front of the door, so I couldn't get in or out, or into the bathroom with it in the room.
I'm sure it was the smallest room I've ever been in and it was hard to be comfortable.
There is a nice pool area, but I couldn't use it because 2 dogs live there and one kept trying to jump up on me. I'm very allergic so that was no good.
The street that this house is on is very industrial. It's only a few blocks to a nicer area but this street did not seem that safe. Only a problem if you are out late, but be aware." ~Barbara
