"Pros: Super nice hosts. Breakfast was at the top and flexible between 7 and 9 with an omelet and plenty of cold fixings to fill one up. Arranged a shared taxi for my return trip to the airport that picked me up at the guesthouse. The room was large and fairly comfortable with nice hot water in the shower. Cons: There is no English spoken so English speakers will need to use French, Portuguese, or a translate app." ~Craig

"Pros: Lovely owner, plentiful breakfast, amazing location directly opposite Mini Familiar (groceries and restaurant). Everything is clean, beds comfortable, if a little hard. Lovely sunrises from your window. Quiet, as it's a sleepy street, and only one direct neighbour in the room next door. I absolutely LOVED having access to a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge at all times during the day - you can always make a cuppa or a snack. This is a much better quality accomodation in Ponta do Sol than anywhere else we stayed, by a country mile. Cons: When you need the bathroom at 3 am in the morning and you have to cover the 2m outside to the (private) bathroom door - it's not cold, just very windy. The live music at Mini Familiar goes on until 10:00 - 11:00 every night, but we didn't mind. The bathroom would benefit from a shelf of some kind." ~Agnieszka
