"Pros: Place was clean, parking was in the back and easy to get in and out of with the rental car. There was clean towels, linen necessities for eating and cooking though we ate out most of the time as we were in town for a wedding. We used the washer and dryer on site which looked new and no issues. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Lots of plugs to charge our phones. Entry into and out of building was easy. All windwos new and were operable. Our stay was good, we were in town for wedding but we also went to Bullocks Bistro which we always do when we come to Yellowknife, go for lunch special if you can. Went to Bluebell Eatery which was Ok, Rickeys for breakfast, NWT Brewing Company for local beers, Wild Cat Café, go early morning when it opens to avoid crowds as it only opens for a short time during the day and only on certain days as well and closed in winter, Gold Range Bar on a Friday night a must place to go once while there show up around 11:30pm on Fridays or Saturdays, Gas Town gas station for Ice Cream / Milkshakes, Co-op for decent priced groceries. Interesting note, there was an explosion one block over from us on July 2nd 2025 around 2:00am, some persons were using propane and blew up their boat. Pieces went everywhere, did not effect us but made the local news we saw the mess the next day. Canada day parade and events were fun. Cons: Two of the beds were uncomfortable, the kids complained they were lumpy. I slept one night on one and have to agree. The living room couch springs on one side appear to have been damaged so awkward to sit on, and two small a couch for the space. No air conditioning but we knew this, and having lived in Yellowknife it is not the norm to have it. If your visiting in late June it stays light out all night, so if you lower the blinds they sway with air movement and bang on window. To remedy this we place a towel under the blind to block out the light but left a gap for air to enter the space, but a little light shines through, thats life in the north." ~Anonymous

"Pros: Sophia was incredibly nice and accommodating. She bustled around making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Very warm and welcoming!" ~Janet
