"Pros: The staff were really good at all times, very friendly and helpful. The ginger welcome Drink is delicious. The garden setting was very nice. The pool and the whole area around it and the restaurant were excellent. The room was big and spacious. The breakfast was good too. The restaurant food is very good,though a bit pricier than normal (to be expected). The temples 31km away are well worth a visit. Of course, they are nowhere near as big as Angkor Wat but the setting is unique, a really special atmosphere. Way better than we expected, don't miss them! The town Kampung Thom was good too, It's a short walk from the hotel (800m) and there is loads of activity along the river with very friendly locals, delighted to pose for photos and to have their photos taken with you. Plenty of good restaurants too, if you don't want to eat at the hotel all the time Cons: The bikes - the hotel offers free bikes which sounds great until you see them and sit on them. Abysmal, unmaintained, wrecks! We still used them, even with almost no brakes, rust and dust everywhere. What could be a great experience is more a trial of patience. A huge letdown. This is also the only hotel in our 12 days in Cambodia which added 3% for paying by credit card - a little disappointing for such a hotel" ~John
