"Pros: The pool was excellent, never crowded. Big hotel. Very quiet in its own grounds at night - and day. There is a free shuttle bus to town (7 hours in between) which is useful just because it's there. There is a restaurant on site open all day which serves basic economical fare.
Cons: Sometimes over-eagerness of staff to smile - this applicable to one particular member who put me in a furious state just before I left. The gym shouldn't get a mention. It would be better that way since it resembles something discovered in a shopping mall after a zombie apocalypse in the 80s, such is its dilapidated and old fashioned state. The fact that there is no real sign for tuk tuk drivers to follow otherwise without guidance they mostly get lost."
