"Pros: The hotel is old, but clean and well maintained. The wood furniture and walls were beautiful and not too overpowering in the lobby or the rooms. (Overpowering wood decorating is something I find in many southeast Asian hotels). The staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions. There was a problem with my reservation, I'm not sure exactly what it was. But they figured it out right away. The food and drinks they offer for room service are very affordable. They also do laundry for $3/kg, which is so much better than being charged per item.
Cons: The pool was not clean. The water was cloudy and the filter was not on. Also, the refrigerator in room 107 was not very strong, so the drinks did not get very cold. I think it needs to be replaced. I would have liked to have a few more options for the minibar."
