"Pros: This resort is impressively beautiful: clean, efficient, well-serviced, comfortable — worth every pound and also incredibly good value for money. Too many things deserve to be mentioned — from the stunning pool nestled in a tropical setting, with an adjacent bar serving great cocktails, to the excellent Cambodian food available throughout the day, and the kindness and helpfulness of the entire staff, always happy to assist with anything you may need. But one thing stands out above all: the fantastic owner of the resort, who explained the vision she always had for this place — to allow everyone to experience and savour the authentic Cambodia. Well, mission accomplished, because that’s exactly what we loved about it: it was nothing like the predictable, lacquered, plastic-looking experience you get in many typical resorts (where once you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all). From the moment you step into the resort, you fall in love with what feels like a luxurious, timeless village — full of lush tropical greenery, made up of traditional Khmer stilt houses, all in wood, blending classic furniture with every modern comfort.
