"Pros: The bungalows are basic, but pretty much standard for the village. They are only a few steps to the beach and about 50 yds to the main area. There is no hot water but you seriously don't need it, a cold shower is definitely welcome in the heat and humidity. The Khmer family that own and run it are so lovely and helpful and welcoming. Yaya is always smiling and gives the biggest wave every time she sees you. She does laundry for the standard 1 dollar per kilo and was always perfectly clean and ready the next day. The location of the bungalows, although close to the beach, are also in the jungle/gardens which means that there isn't much of a breeze and there are a lot of mosquitoes about, but it is green season so to be expected. You will also get a lot of geckoes inside but you gotta embrace your surroundings. I am already booked to return for another long stay.
Cons: Dodging the mangoes falling from the trees was a bit of a challenge 😂" ~Gary
