Cons: From a Western perspective, you might find that the Cambodian experience generally, feels a bit different — sometimes in ways that catch you off guard. Things don’t always work the way you might expect, and that can be disappointing if you're holding them up to a ‘Western’ standard. But they can also be the things that add to the country’s charm. There was something uniquely Cambodian about the whole Palm Beach experience — a rawness, warmth, and authenticity that I haven’t found elsewhere. And if you can let go of the idea that everything should run like it does back home, you’ll find so, so much to enjoy. Salacia’s Suite captures that balance wonderfully. It’s welcoming, comfortable and friendly without pretending to offer the polish of a resort.
