"Pros: The people on reception were very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The bed was very comfortable, and the room well supplies with essentials! The location was good - only a few minutes away from the start of locations for sight seeing. It is uphill!!!! Cons: The staff in the restaurant were rather surly when we had breakfast. The portions put out on the breakfast buffet were very small - you felt a bit guilty taking any!!! Although a lovely hotel with a fascinating history, we thought it was rather expensive for what it was and the size of the room we were allocated." ~Tarenborn
