"Pros: Such a sweet spot. Right next to literally everything. The appartment was great, suited every space and need for the 3 of us. The town is divided in two: party-seekers and bohemians. Vibe, food, street food, young feel and street musicians, galleries, bohemians, terraces, candlle-light restaurants, open -air opera. Two beaches, a wider one that is on the new side. Clean waters, great for occasianal snorkeling. And the central one: sand is like cornmeal or flour, smaller, but: what a location! The first one: is at our feet, literrally you walk out of the building and it is right there. (30m let's say) With shops, restaurants, atms, shops, souvenirs, coffee machines, "vinoteca" . Nice and quiet - even if it was the party and younger part of the town. We enjoyed the silence and the sounds of the waves on our terrace. ( It is also budget friendly, Lidl and Billa were also at a 10-15 minutes walk-way) .The central beach is just a 10 minutes walk away, great silky-soft sand beach, the port, marina, old town and ladies selling their home-made goodies, terraces and restaurants overlooking the sea, street artists, museums, unique masterpieces by loval artists...such a nice getaway from all the hustle. What did we like? The proximity to everything. Also a great place for pets. So many nice dogs and cats everywhere. People felt right at home. Every 4-5th person was walking a dog. The town was full of body positive cats:)) . One stole the show, going for the medal. It was a lazy fish-fed marina brat, so... Nice to see and remember the humane part: inhabitants left water out for the strays and pets! Such a nice gesture! After all these, walking back was just a stroll, there is a main street too with street food-shops-juice-bars, literrally everything.. Cons: These are such small things that the great everything made us forget about them. Maybe the beds are on the small-side for 3, but nothing dramatic. Just a tought. But! Regarding the other benefits, these just went unnoticed" ~Sandor
