"Pros: The balcony was the nicest part of the apartment because it was the coolest area in the entire apartment. No air conditioner! It was hot as hell. Cons: Where can I start? First no air conditioning. During the hot summer months in Brazil, this is a must. Then we find out that there was a scheduled electrical maintenance repair in the entire building that took an entire day. We were not informed, nor given any prior notice. If we knew this would be the case we would not have made the reservations here. We contacted the owner and we were told they were not aware but that it would take only until 3pm. When in fact it was past 6pm and we still had no electricity. We asked the building manager and she advised us that this was communicated to all owners in advance. Yet no communication to the guests were made by the owner. We also requested extra towels as we were going to be staying there for 10 days, and this was not granted. We were just given 2 towels. Very bad location. Stay away!" ~Ferrero
