"Pros: The hotel is clean and well kept. The rooms and the common spaces were organized for the most part . Cons: I had read the reviews prior to booking this hotel. I had read some negative comments about the internet, the breakfast, and the limited service available. However, I still wanted to give the hotel a chance and find out for myself. I will start by saying this property is in between an air bnb and a hotel. Why? It’s a hotel in a sense that there is staff to check you in when you get there. However, after a certain hour the reception closes, and there is no one to assist anymore. If you need something, there’s an automated message that responds with a number you can call. The rooms only have a tv and small desk. There is no microwave, there is no coffee machine, basically no options. The staff was okay. We had three different receptionist and one of them was a bit more welcoming and friendly. The other 2 men were very serious, dry, and not welcoming or as friendly. The beds are extremely hard and pillows are super flat and it’s not a comfortable sleep at all. The bathroom window faces the common hallway and if it’s open, well you can imagine … you can hear others in the restroom. The internet and tv signal were bad. The tv signal comes on and off constantly. The WiFi signal is weak. The breakfast was included but we only had it once because it was so bad. Limited options, no taste, and the bread was cold and hard. There is no restaurant option in the hotel. Lastly, the distance to city center is not far but if you go during a holiday or winter season, driving to the center is a nightmare. A 10 min drive turns into 30-40 minutes due to traffic not to mention it is extremely difficult to find parking. I gave it a chance and found out for myself that other reviews were right. Based on my experience, it’s overpriced for what they give in return. I wouldn’t consider this hotel as an option if I were to go to Campos de Jordao again." ~Tania
