"Pros: We were 5 friends traveling. The apartment looks like a hostel, it was perfect for us, Joana was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The fridge was not working when we got there but she quickly got someone to fix it. The AC’s were working great, we took care of the place like our house, turned them off when nobody was there and it quickly cooled off when turned on. It’s a bit hidden but easy to walk to and there’s a grocery shop right in front of it. The wifi didn’t work for a day but perfectly fine the other days ( it’s an issue in the whole island )The balcony was great, and got space to dry off your clothes too. Kitchen got everything we needed. I absolutely recommend staying at Joana’s place. It’s preferably that you have cash as a form of payment since internet in the island is bad and the card machines won’t work and there’s nothing they can do about it.
Cons: The bathroom is small but not a big issue. The shower switch can give you a bit of an electric shock if you are not wearing flip flops( I learned it’s common thing in Brazil lol especially in Sao Paulo ) other than that, Please stay there, it’s absolutely worth the price." ~Wilton
