"Pros: We liked the service, the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a pool at the hotel to cool off from the Bahia heat. The breakfast was small but delicious. We loved the tranquility of the hotel. Cons: It was new years, which explains why the price we paid was very high. But even so, we don't feel like we got a lot of value for our money. The breakfast could have had more options. There were some breakfast items that no one ate, like maniok, which could be replaced with something else that many people like, like pao de quejo or more fruit options." ~Jan-philipp

"Pros: We loved our stay at Encantos Do Mata! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating to anything we needed! Jessica spoke perfect English which was really helpful. "Pros: Location and the beds were comfortable. Cons: I wanted a quiet hostel but it was weird making it a rule. It felt like being in a silence retreat. It made it uncomfortable to just be in the hostel. There are not enough hanging out spots as most are used by volunteers.
