"Pros: This unit was an easy (albeit hilly) walk down into the old town - maybe 10 minutes. The apartment was very clean, the bathroom was updated and modern, and the space was roomy and bright. The ceiling angles in the bedroom can be low in places. That wasn't a problem for us, however, if you're really tall, take care if you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night - :-). The owner was very friendly and helpful. Contact with him via What's App was easy. He let us park in his garage which was a real benefit, as it was rainy the evening and day we were there. He even made a space for us in his front driveway after we checked out so we could explore Sarajevo during the day. I would definitely stay here again. Tip: if you are driving there, note that the house sits on a side road that is immediately parallel to the major road and an immediate turn off. The reason I mention this is if you miss their access road, you will be driving up and down some very steep, skinny one way hills to find your way back to their street. Believe me, it was a nail biter for my husband and I as we don't usually drive manual cars. I can laugh at it now - ha ha.
Cons: Nothing. It was a lovely stay." ~Ohio
"Pros: Everything was wonderful, great host, big apartment with great view, all required amenities included. Very clean, close to the city center." ~Wiktoria
"Pros: We really enjoyed our stay! The location is great — just a 10-minute walk downhill to the Latin Bridge. The garden is amazing, with a barbecue area where we had a sausage party with a view of the mountains — it was truly unforgettable! There’s also a lovely terrace with a table and a beautiful mountain view.
Our host, Amira, was absolutely wonderful — very welcoming and always ready to help with anything we needed.
Cons: A few small downsides: the apartment was chilly at first (but the AC helped), the motion-activated blue night lights were a bit distracting the first night, and the single bed was a bit firm. None of this spoiled our stay, though — we had a great time!" ~Anna
"Pros: Location is 10min from old centre (downhill going, uphill returning). It was very quiet at night as it's a residential area. I highly recommend bakery Bistrik for borek.
The room was large with a kitchenette and table and chairs, separate bathroom. It was clean. You leave your shoes off at the door and there are slippers provided.
Communication with the owner was excellent. They offered me a taxi collection (€15) which I'm glad I accepted as my flight was delayed and I landed late.
Cons: Despite the no smoking signs I think someone had smoked in the room as there was a slight smell for the first day or so. But smoking inside is a common thing in Bosnia so be prepared for it!" ~Selen
"Pros: The property was really close to the city centre and was big and comfortable. Six of us slept here and we had a great time. Our host, Ahmed, was friendly and kind. He helped us with which places to visit in the city, which road to take when we left and was available to us all day if we had something to ask him.
Cons: Nothing to be mentioned, everything was just fine." ~Laci
