"Pros: My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Villa Massis. As soon as we arrived, Dan, Melanie, Larry, and Lucy made us feel like welcomed friends- or, as my one aunt put it - "You made us feel like family right when we got here." The two rooms that we booked were just right for our party of four. We were completely surrounded by nature - it felt like we were in the jungle, but we were so close to San Ignacio town (less than 15 minute drive). Waking up surrounded by trees and to the sounds of birds chirping was wonderful. The only thing better was Melanie's cooking. Please do yourself a favor and have one of her homecooked dinners. "Pros: great location, you feel like you're in the jungle. there is a great river where you can swim and also a jumping platform with a rope. If you want to go to San Ignacio you can catch a taxi right on the street. If I want to ever back to this region, it would be only to Cohune Palms River Cabanas. The owner Mike is very helpful and the conversation is like with a good friend. Cons: nothing." ~Paweł
