"Pros: Maya Beach was a good compromise location for going between Placentia Village and inland sites like Cockscomb National Park. Rounded, organic style architecture was a unique experience. Really nice pool, garden grounds, and the inland lagoon waterfront with kayaks, paddles and life vests, good for some upper body exercise. Huge shower room completely covered with blue reflective tiles. Room safe was good to have. Cons: The round bed would have been great if I was traveling with my wife, but I was traveling with my adult son. Still, we both slept fine. The toilet room didn't have a fan, which could possibly become an issue. Neighbors below started a party at 10:30. We never saw any staff the three nights, but I did let them know by WhatsApp. It got quiet by 11:15, so maybe the were able to contact that room." ~Erik
