"Pros: This is a fabulous old building in a great location. The breakfast was excellent and our host was lovely. Parking is really convenient, if a little confusing as it is out on the street and it is not obvious if it is free to use. The bar area is superbly appointed and very well stocked.
Cons: Check in is quite late, at 4pm. We arrived at about 2:30 and couldn’t get through to speak to anyone to ask advice (although they did reply to a text message). We stayed in a suite which was comfortable and spacious but let down by the bathroom (including toilet) being open plan , almost as part of the lounge area. The bar shut at 8pm. We don’t stay up late, but I would have expected 21:30 to 22:00."
