"Pros: The house is very well-insulated, elegant and modern. Finishes are of a high standard, especially the gorgeous bathroom. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. We were close to many of the attractions of the Ardennes and the host was responsive to queries. The village was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, which is exactly what we were after.
Cons: The open-plan layout was fine for us as a family, but might be an issue for two couples sharing. It would be nice to have a door for the main bedroom so noise doesn't travel upstairs."
