"Pros: The view facing the ocean is hard to beat, the cleanliness of the studio, the host's responsiveness, functional bathroom and kitchenette, the ease of finding the place, free parking nearby, quiet building (we didn't hear the neighbors), good WiFi connection. Cons: The Murphy bed is really not comfortable and we woke up with sore muscles every morning. Had I known about this, I would not have booked the studio, and certainly not for 5 nights. There is a day bed flush against the wall and I hit my head against the shelf because I had not realized the shelf was set so low that you can't sit on the bed and lean back against the cushions and wall. In addition, the studio is right on the national road and the tram line so it is noisy when you open the door to the balcony. Since the place has no AC, it would be a real issue in warm weather. The key lock box is fixed inside the letter box making it difficult to see the numbers when looking for the combination to open the box. The Android TV was not set up for guest use during our stay." ~Sophie

"Pros: On arrival we tried to contact 'Tony' and tried to contact your organization and the emergency number. I received a message from the contact of the 'contemporary appartement' Oostende on May 11 at 3:08 telling he is in a hospital . At that time we still didn't find a place to sleep. Beside the refund of the reservation of appartement I will claim 6 hours of our precious holiday time for the both of us (€1000), the toll (2x€5) for using the tunnels in Belgium, the cost for traveling (600 km. x €0.30 = €180),making a total of €1190. I will not charge the emotional damage and the health effects on hardly sleeping in a cold car and ruining our holiday but in court I surely will.
