"Pros: We enjoyed our stay, in a perfectly clean and equipped apartment with a spectacular view of the sea ( you could even hear it through the open window), its 10\10, matches all the expectations and the host is a very lovely woman who took care of our needs and requests! We are most certainly coming back, thank you so much, Martine! Bonus points: - close to the beach; - there were beach chairs etc available for free in the apartment; - the beds were very comfy (I just had spine surgery so it was very important for me); - There were a lot of towels for (the 4 of us in summer we appreciated it); - there was everything we needed to cook or even shop, a fully equipped kitchen, everything worked well, we enjoyed cooking our meals, there was even a shopping trolley you could take to go to the shop; - there were two extra couches and a baby bed extra (probably possible to stay for more than 4 ppl); - separate toilet, there was soap in the shower and kitchen; - there was salt, coffee, tea, sugar, oil, etc available so you could cook right away; - there was free parking (we did not use it), a tram stop, and a big shop literally 5 min walk; - wifi worked really well; - it's 8th floor so away from the street noise and a better view of the sea. - the owner was very responsive over the phone before/during and even after our stay! Cons: only two things could be improved: - the couch next to the window was really painful to sit on to enjoy the seaview, let alone lying on top of it to watch TV, would be really nice to have a nice couch/chairs there instead to enjoy that sea breeze; - would be great to have a shower curtain." ~Mariahluk

"Pros: The location! The apartment was well equipped and in a very nice neighborhood! Surrounded by easy access to supermarkets, bakeries, and restaurants and not far from the beach. It was great having the tram stop not far away. The apartment was very clean and cozy, easy to clean, and spacious! Loved the little garden patio and there was a table when the weather was good to enjoy ! Cons: Getting the Key! We didn't have a car and came all the way from Australia and arrived by train and had to pick up the key in Bredene - opposite direction and had to take a tram to get there. After receiving the key we had to take again the tram to get to the apartment. Would have been great from another experience renting an apartment where there was a letterbox - where was given a code number to get the key. Perhaps something to be considered especially when people are coming from far away like us - traveling all the way from Australia. ( after a 20-hour flight and not always travel goes smooth and the office where we had to pick up the key was only available between 15- 17.00 H - ) The day we had to return we had to bring the key back to the same location - taking the tram ... Would have been great to just leave the key in the letter box." ~Claudine

"Pros: This flat was a perfect fit for our family (5 adults and one toddler) ! The location is perfect, the beach is literally across the street. The flat is neat and well equipped. Coming and leaving were really easy, as was the communication with Peter. We parked one car in the garage and the other ones on free parking spots in the streets nearby (± 1km). Nice bakery in the neighbourhood and easy to shop groceries. We would definitely recommend this place and will rent it again if we come back to Ostend ! Cons: A folding crib for baby and toddlers would have been useful but we knew when we booked the flat there was not any available so it was no surprise." ~Coline
