"Pros: 1 star for the view and the location, 1 star for the online check-in and the welcome pack (soap, shampoo, sponge, tea, coffee capsules). Cons: The flat was unfortunately very dirty: sticky floor (we had to wear our sandals), crumbs of dust and tufts of hair all over the floor, hair in the fridge and in the covered bed, leftover kitchen paper on the heating, stains on the towels and bath towels, food leftovers on the table. We immediately reported all this to the flat rental company (Husswell) with photos and asked for a new cleaning and for new towels and bed linen, and later for a (%) refund. Unfortunately, they only apologised for the inconvenience (!) and said that they could not send a cleaning crew or new sheets, nor would a refund be possible. We have stayed in many flats on the Belgian coast, never has it been so dirty and without the possibility to clean it ourselves! Also to note: the flat is very noisy, there is no freezer in the fridge, the hand soap was empty, no mosquito net in the window, no broom to sweep, TV without channels- only streaming services available (this could have been mentioned before), coffee capsules but a normal filter machine, no kettle, kitchen utensils sparse but ok...great need for improvement here (which I also told the owner who contacted me after the stay). We hope that future comments about this flat will be more positive!" ~Anouck
