"Pros: Beautiful house, modern but absolutely charming, very clean and with all amenities provided, just like home.
The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and we really appreciated to be able to do some laundry after our 14 days theme parks tour!
Kathleen is a wonderful host, and we appreciated very much all the little plus. ( I won’t spoil it though, it must remain a pleasant surprise for the guests)
The location is very calm and charming, however you will find all that you need, shops, cafes and cycling paths within a few kilometers by car, it’s also close to De Panne beach and Plopsaland De panne, with its wonderful roller coaster The ride to happiness, and it’s roughly an half an hour drive from Brugge and Ostend.
I fully recommend this beautiful and large house for a family of 3/5 people, it’s really worth the money.
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect ! Even more beautiful than in the pictures!"

"Pros: Lovely house in a gorgeous location - it would be superb in the summer to have meals on the terrace with the views over the countryside but was still lovely in the winter with stunning sun rises/sun sets. Well stocked kitchen with welcoming hosts and friendly cat, lovely comfortable beds and soft towels. Good, safe parking and not too far from the main roads. Ypres is lovely - with plenty of non-WW1 things to do if that is not your thing. House and area well worth a visit and less than an hour from Calais.
Cons: I would say that we visited in late January during a very cold and wet spell, however, the house was cold upon arrival and took several days to warm up, despite keeping the wood burner on pretty much constantly - and we live in an old house so are used to this challenge! The bedrooms need independent heating. Stairs could be a challenge to those less able or with very young children. The only toilet is downstairs so this may also be a consideration."
