"Pros: We absolutely loved ASTA, which is, happily, far away from the massive hotels in downtown Nassau. Our room was lovely, comfortable, and with a balcony overlooking the lush tropical gardens and small pool. The water view from the main deck is stunning, with a sweet beach within a few minutes’ walk. Loved the onsite Indian food, which is served on the main deck, upon request. We ate there 3 times! Cons: This wasn’t an issue for us, but this is not a suitable location for people with mobility issues, as there are quite a few stairs to climb. Coffee and pastries are available in the morning, but don’t expect full-service hotel amenities; it’s more like living in someone’s lovely hilltop home with ocean views." ~Promila
