"Pros: We had a fantastic stay in this characterful apartment in the beautiful Wachau valley. This is a unique old building with comfortable beds and plenty of space. Lovely and cool in the hot weather.
Cons: If you're looking for pristine and modern this isn't for you, but we loved the ornaments and artefacts - clearly a guest house with a rich history. Similarly, the kitchen has an eclectic array of cooking paraphernalia. We couldn't find a chopping knife, but perhaps we missed it. Plenty of pots, plates etc, a plug-in 2 plate hob and a plug-in oven. We visited in July and it was brilliant to be so close to wineries and seasonal heuringers where you can taste the local wine."
