"Pros: 1. Location was amazing!.
2. Local products (Milk that was produced at the place, was very special. But also eggs and bread were good). Products could be brought from a near bakery straight to your door.
3. Kitchen was almost completely supplied.
4. The owner , Stefi and her family were very kind to us and asked for our need from time to time.
5. The garden and the apartments were full of activities for our kids.
Cons: 1. The apartment had an electric kettle but no coffee or tea provided. However, there was an espresso machine with capsules on the ground floor—first round for free, if you want more, yiu need to pay.
2. The website advertised hands-on farm experiences (feeding animals, milking cows, making butter), but (according to the owner) due to new Austrian regulations following a recent disease outbreak, only observing the animals (after proper sterilization and gear) was allowed—except for petting the bunnies. While the educational tour was interesting, the kids were disappointed.
Interestingly, at the next place we stayed, full animal interaction was allowed, suggesting inconsistent enforcement of the rules in some places.
3. Horse riding was available but only at limited times that didn’t work for our schedule." ~Majintravel
