"Pros: Breakfast was great, they had dairy free options including oat milk and were happy to discuss allergens in the cereals etc. Omelettes made to order. The swimming pool was lovely. Much quieter in the morning. Good location in the centre and 5 mins from train station.
Free dinner for kids and 10% was great. We didn't want to tie ourselves to half board so this was a nice perk when we did eat at the hotel.
Cons: The curtains were inadequate, they let in a lot of light so we were up with the sunrise! An easy fix for the hotel but in the meantime Families with little kids should bring some stick on blinds.
Our room was very hot, even after turning off radiator.
Being in the centre meant it was quite loud in the evenings when there were concerts in the town centre (surprisingly often.) we enjoyed listing to the music from the balcony and our child slept through it, thankfully.
The free meals for kids don’t start till 6.30 which was a little late for us. Please also provide some vegetables with the kids meals in the restaurant! It is very hard to get your ‘5 a day’ when you’re on holiday."
