"Pros: This is a beautiful traditional austrian lodge in a scenic location in a valley between many mountains. I eat breakfast and dinner there as well and both were great. My room had a nice deck and very comfortable bed.
The Sauna/Spa is no clothing so just be advised. It was not a big deal and the woman I saw wore towels. They have many different saunas segmented by heat level, a steam room, and a bubble tub that is at 87 degrees. They also have a cold bucket dump between sauna sessions and a relaxation room. Only issue was it was only open from 15:30 to 10pm. I would have loved to use it the morning I left."

The Trattenhaus is located on the outskirts of Krimml village, a 15-minute walk from the Krimml Waterfalls, which the property overlooks. The spacious apartments have a balcony or terrace overlooking the Hohe Tauern National Park. Free WiFi is available. Featuring traditional wooden furniture, the apartments include cable TV, a DVD player,a kitchen, and a bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided. Free private parking is available at Ferienwohnung Trattenhaus. Breakfast and half-board are available in a restaurant 100 metres away. In summer, guests have free admission to a local swimming lake at Hotel Klocherhaus, which is a 2-minute walk away. Hiking and mountain bike trails, as well as the Tauernradweg Cycling Trail start right outside. The Zillertal Arena Ski Area is 7 km away. It can be reached with a ski bus stopping a 2-minute walk away.
