"Pros: We came with not so high expectations, as this guest house is not in Ischgl but in Kappl (about 7 minutes away by car from the Ischgl Silvretta Parking). I thought it would be something primitive.
In reality it was probably the best guesthouse we ever went to. How so:
-the Zangerle family have cow(s) and they serve yoghurt every morning
-they also serve speck (some kind of cured meat) made by them also every morning
-they also serve cheese made by them also every morning
-and milk...and other stuff they make
-the above: milk, yoghurt, speck, cheese is made by the family, by themselves
-they have also all kinds of other choices for breakfast (cereals etc...)
What I really really liked is that there are NO employees....Europe is in a crisis of people to work, yet this family they do everything the old way, themselves, no poorly paid employees around...
and...while there are no employees, the cleanliness is SPOTLESS....they clean every day
they even give you source water every day in the room
I cannot say enough how impressed I was. strongly strongly recommended
Cons: If you are from northern europe and from any other countries where temperature in the room is normally probably around 20 degrees celsius there s nothing to not like
if you are from Romania you might find the 20-21 room temperature a bit low. However, this is traditional in Austria.
