"Pros: We were kindly upgraded to a larger cottage at no extra cost, which was a lovely and unexpected gesture. The view over the valley and mountains was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was well-equipped with everything needed for cooking, and the property itself is charming—nicely decorated with flowers, pottery, and thoughtful outdoor touches. A very tranquil and relaxing setting overall.
Cons: Despite being advertised as dog-friendly, we were shouted at by the owners twice when our dogs went to wander outside on the greenery, right infront of our terrace, first time without the leash and second time we thought its because of the leash so the second time we took the dogs on leash but it was till a problem. This was upsetting and contradicts the dog-friendly claim. During the departure we were told by the owners that they do not allow dogs to go on the greenery as they grow hay there for the horses and they had a bad experience last year. We understood that, but either they have to tell us in advance before we rent the place so that we decide if it makes sense for us to come, or put some barriers between the terrace and the greenery so that we are aware that we cannot use the space right in front of the terrace. There’s also no outdoor lighting at night, so it’s completely dark and unsafe to step outside or go for a short walk. Grilling—even with an electric grill—was not allowed due to fire policy, which was disappointing.
Several other guests mentioned fresh bread in their reviews, but we were never informed this was available, which was a shame. Also, be aware that the nearest small grocery store is about a 15-minute drive away, and the closest full-size supermarket is in St. Johann im Pongau, about 35 minutes away. Make sure to bring food and essentials (salt, oil etc.)with you when you arrive."

"Pros: The apartment was clean, modern, and packed with great amenities, including a private sauna, hot tub, and a wide-screen TV. The location was great, right next to the river and within walking distance of several restaurants. The living room and bedrooms were warm and cozy with advanced lighting control. We had a wide selection breakfast customised to our preferences delivered outside our room every morning. Best of all, the host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, always ready to help whenever we had a question or request. Highly recommend!

Set in the Hohe Tauern National Park and on a hillside,Almliesl HUET-234 is a 5-minute drive away from the centre of Hüttschlag, and offers a Finnish sauna and apartments with a balcony or terrace providing panoramic mountain views. Free WiFi is available. The apartments also feature satellite TV, a private bathroom with bathtub, a living room with a dining area, and a well-equipped kitchenette with dishwasher and microwave. Both a restaurant and a grocery shop are a 3-minute drive away. Guests can ride horses right on site or enjoy the Finnish sauna. The 300-year old farm house, located next to the apartments, is worth a visit. The free ski bus stops 2.5 km from the house and provides connection to the Ski Amadé Ski Area in Großarl, 8 km away. Several hiking trails start directly on the doorstep. A public outdoor swimming pool and a bathing lake can be reached within 8 km of the property.
A damage deposit of EUR 110 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that extra costs need to be paid upon arrival on site and in cash.
