"Pros: The village is so beautiful and quiet, very peaceful. The lake nearby is stunningly beautiful and looks like a fjord with mountains all around and refreshing turquoise water. The hotel restaurant has amazing dinner and breakfast which was included and the staff were very pleasant. If you’re driving the parking is free. If you arrive later they are happy to accommodate and have you do the check in the morning. The location is fabulous for going to Füssen, or high line 179, or Lermoos and the valley there on the Austrian side of the Zugspitze, and a beautiful drive around to Garmisch and the German side of Zugspitze and the glacier lake Eibsee… there’s hiking and road biking and mountain biking or in the winter skiing all right there basically on the doorstep! They had a trampoline and playground for kids and incredible views from the covered restaurant terrace and patio below. The room was really clean and cozy and the balcony view is just stunning! We had an incredible stay and would come back again and highly recommend for the value compared to other places and their prices! Cons: We wish there was a fan for the room during the summer but thankfully the cooler air comes in more quickly in the mountains." ~Vaughn
