"Pros: A good value for the money. The self-check-in was smooth, although I don't understand why there is a time limit for check-in (up to 8 pm). The house is very sweet with a big common kitchen and coffeemaker available. We had a separate apartment on the last floor with 3 bedrooms and a kitchenette and bathroom, and it was clean and pleasant. The balcony was nice for star gazing and listening to the river and mountains. It faces the road but in the evening you won't hear lots of cars driving there. Also, there is a parking spot available right in the yard. The location was perfect for visiting Grossglockner Road in the early morning - around 15-20 minutes of driving. The owners recommended a bakery in the village - it's not an actual bakery but a minimarket with suuuuper tasty and fresh buns & rolls, it opens at 6 am. Cons: The owners recommended having dinner at Hotel Post restaurant since they offer a discount for Chalet Charlotte's visitors, but when we came there they were surprised and said there was no agreement between their companies. The small discount was made by the restaurant but just for us not to get disappointed." ~Mariana
