"Pros: The location and the staff are the most valuable for this stay. It’s close to the gondola that even the laziest can be happy (ie, me) and the thermal baths are even closer. The town is hilly but it’s a doable hike up after a day on skis. The staff - really your host - is worth the stay.
Cons: While there is a sauna on site, you have to pay for it and you have to plan in advance to use it. But that’s such a minor inconvenience."

"Pros: Best location in the village. Close to Stubnerkogelbahn and ski bus stop outside the hotel. Room was very clean and nice views of the mountains at the back, quiet, breakfast with a good variety of bread, cheeses and different meats. Very comfy bed."

"Pros: I came to Bad Gastein alone, to snowboard for a week, so my key needs were- Location(Close to ski lift, close to public transport), price(No one to split the bill with) and my needs were met completely. This place is Right next to both train station and buss stations, RIGHT NEXT to them, but very quiet and the Stubnerkogel ski lift is right across the street. My room was cleaned every day, i was met at breakfast with a smile every morning, it was super warm, the bed was large and comfortable, modern TV with netflix, parking space right at the door(If you go by car), the room was spacious for one person and quite enough for 2. The hostess was very kind and ready to help with anything. Flexible check-in/check-out.(For late arrivals, early breakfast). Highly recommend for 1-2 people going on a ski trip."

Villa Orania is a 10-minute walk from the Stubnerkogel Ski Lift in the thermal resort Bad Gastein, and it offers free access to the sauna, ski storage, and apartments with a furnished balcony, flat-screen satellite TV and free WiFi.
