"Pros: Yes, it's got great views, but many properties in the area have such views. They are west-looking views, so you don't get sunrise views or morning sunshine (and the setting sun was hard to see in April). It was still nice to sit on the balcony, especially in the two-seater swing chair. The apartment was cosy, clean, and comfortable, as described in other reviews. And, yes, Viki's personal touches were appreciated (the wine, the coffee etc.) It's about a 10-minute walk into Montville, which is convenient, although you have to walk along the side of the road for some of the time and it's "up hill and down dale". Cons: In theory, I guess, it's helpful to have the owner on site if there are questions or concerns. But the living arrangements might not be to everybody's liking. Viki lives "upstairs" (which is actually the entry level; you enter into her entrance hallway and then go "down stairs" to the apartment). Some people might be uncomfortable that the owner is residing just on top. She can be heard occasionally, especially if she's on her balcony at the same time as the guests are on their balcony (just below). As described in other reviews, yes, the second bedroom gets some road noise. Yes, the guest parking arrangements are not ideal (although there are designated "parking bays", they are right next to the road, so security may be an issue if this is a concern for you.) Yes, there is a bit of "lugging one's belongings" down the stairs and then up when you leave." ~Stewart
