"Pros: We loved the accommodation was fully self contained so we could do our own shopping and cooking. It made things so much easier having a laundry to wash and the kids loved staying in a two story place. The place had a warm, light and bright feel but still felt fairly private.
The pool was amazing being that it was a lagoon style with little smaller pool pockets off the main pool, with a waterfall, cave and little island in the middle of the pool. The kids absolutely loved it and it felt interesting having different little areas to swim, rather than just a rectangle pool.
Cons: The resort had a gym, but as this unit is privately owned we didn't have access to it. We are gym junkies and would have appreciated using it, overlooking the pool. I never saw anyone in it, so an option to pay per day with the resort would have been good or to have the owner's gym key as part of the stay. I would stay here again, pending the gym being available to us.
To note, the host never advertised it as being available, but since the resort itself had the facility we assumed it would have been part of the deal, so that was our mistake."

"Pros: We loved how close we were to the pool, which was excellent. Not too busy. Great pizzas and cocktails delivered to your sun lounger!
The property was perfect for our needs, with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. And while some of the furniture may need an update, it was clean and the aircon and ceiling fans worked really well.
Centre of port Douglas is only a 5 minute drive away.
Owner was always quick to respond to questions. Very helpful.
Cons: All furniture needs updating as it’s looking a bit tired. Bit of a musty smell when first entering the property due to humidity. Internet not the best.
Downstairs toilet refilling needs looking at."

"Pros: Easy to find, centrally located and perfect for what we wanted to achieve while in PD. Arrival instructions were spot on. Key to laundry that was in key safe was a little tricky to get working. Keys inside worked better. The kids loved the pool.

"Pros: This resort is located close to all amenities. Very quiet and calm. My kids loved the pool. Nice clean and beautiful perfect for the hot days. The House was full of kitchen facilities that we used for our stay. There was 2 Tv living room and bed room with Netflix and internet speed was very good. There was 3bed rooms each had balconies, Beds were comfortable had enough pillows blankets. I loved the fact that before our arrival they kept all the fans aircon on to make sure the house is nice and cool as the weather was extremely hot.
Overall we had a great time and our family enjoyed a lot.
Cons: Nothing much to dislike."
