"Pros: Location Cons: Dirty stained duvet. No ventilation in bathrooms leaving everything drenched after a shower with steam almost setting off our fire alarm - later this happened to neighbour at 7:30am Saturday 10 August with a Fire Truck in attendance. No midstay service we were booked 11 nights and advised if I wanted clean sheets I could wash them myself or alternatively a change of linen might be available for $200AUD. Advised we would just move to second room with queen bed halfway through stay to find on arrival the second room had the queen bed split into Two single beds in second room instead of the advertised queen bed. A week prior to our stay The Boutique Collectoon sent SMS and emails and I felt threatened by them after paying full accommodation fee we were advised that if we didn’t pay $350AUD security deposit 4 days prior to our arrival that the accommodation would be cancelled and it would take three days after stay for this fee to be refunded. We have stayed with Boutique Collection Palm Cove since 2010 and this is first time a security fee has been paid prior to arrival. At the end of our stay a message from The Boutique Collection advised us to make positive recommendations to Booking plus and ‘suggestions’ about how the service may be improved direct to ‘The Boutique Collection’." ~Melissa

"Pros: Great resort, beautiful pool, short walk to main shops and cafes. Easy to collect keys from lock box. Everything was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. Lagoon pool was amazing, felt like a luxury 5 star resort. Cons: Could have provided another soap for shower ( only one small soap provided ) and another toilet roll so we had enough for our stay. A long walk to the bigger supermarket, but we did go there for a few supplies. Only a minor issue and do appreciate that only basics are provided. Could not really fault anything big. Handy to have microwave in room and good small coffee machine and towells for pool." ~Rosalie
