"Pros: Location was great because it was central to our hiking locations and the house amenities were good. There was ample room in the cabin with a good-sized bathroom. Kitchenette was sufficient and microwave over was ok for heating up small items. Bed was okay and host was very helpful. Cons: Whilst there was an outdoor BBQ there (which would be great for summer), we would have loved to have had a basic stove or similar to do bacon and eggs for breakfast or warming up a large pasta dish or similar for dinner. Not a deal-breaker, just a suggestion." ~Michael

"Pros: Lots of things to love about our stay: 1. exceptional service (without being intrusive), Mel was so friendly, helpful and generous. One example: she ran down to our car with umbrellas when we got back from our afternoon out during the pouring rain. 2. Exceptional accommodation and location. The property and grounds were immaculately kept, such a peaceful location to just sit and relax. So much attention to the little things throughout the grounds and in the room to make it an enjoyable stay. 3. Exceptional food: we haven't had a better breakfast anywhere, and the spicy ribs for dinner: incredible! 4. Peaceful and private. I already mentioned peaceful but I'll say it again because it's important to us. I was a little concerned before we got there that other visitors to the property might cause issues, but the room was positioned in a private position at the back of the house and we felt like we were there on our own. We highly recommend this B&B and will be back for sure! Cons: Nothing to dislike." ~Mark
