"Pros: Our room was clean, the door lockable which made us feel more secure when on days out. You get given keys only your room can access. Alongside towels, little body wash’s, few bowls and cups to use and there is a tv, the room was comfy! The shared bathroom was cleaned regularly by cleaners until used by some guests who didn’t fully clean after themselves but nothing you can do about that, as they don’t follow rules or other users guideline.. Kitchen was often clean and quiet when you used it so that’s good also you can use the essentials like shared pots and pans in there too.. just make sure you clean up after yourself as it’s not fair on others if not. Location is just up the road from metro, and near a good pub called Rag and Famish we spent many a night here and they have trivia plus lovely foood ! Worth the 10 minute walk.. Parking is a nightmare as it would be in any major city! So we used the website/app called Park hound and found Nick. Who allowed us to park on his driveway for a little fee—(certainly cheaper and safer than car parks or street parking) was so helpful, polite and is just up the road over the bridge (5-10 minutes max) away from the lodge!
