"Pros: Location was great! Walking distance to everything and the option of a carpark space included was a bonus (though we didn't have a car). The balcony views were lovely for an afternoon drink though some comfortable chairs with backs would be beneficial to sit back and relax and enjoy the sunset views (as opposed to the stools). Beds very comfortable and overall the apartment was clean, comfortable and as pictured. The size of the apartment was spacious and the aircon in every room was certainly needed with the Carins humidity. Kitchen facilities were good and adequately stocked for ease of cooking meals. Fully equipped laundry was handy. Cons: Construction noise! Be very mindful of the construction works at the hospital next door. Woke us up every day at 6am, did not get the relaxing trip as planned. Not the fault of the property but a warning should be given to guests prior to booking. Our stay was May 2024 and the works look like they'll be ongoing for several more months. Few minor issues, key fob didn't work for us resulting in manually having to enter pin codes for building and lift access, not a big deal just tedious. WIFI didn't work, devices would connect but no internet access at any time of day or night. TV remote didn't connect and couldn't stream movies, possibably due to the internet issue as every app just buffered or wouldn't load. The hot water tap in one ensuite didn't work, only poured cold water. Free toiletries were minimal (one hotel size set in each bathroom on arrival) and not enough for duration of stay, not a big deal as we ended up buying our own but could be worded better on listing. Only one outdoor pool despite two pools advertised on listing." ~Courtney
