"Pros: The apartment was a groundfloor location, perfect for a morning swim in the pool.It was a quiet peaceful apartment.
It was spacious, had tiled floors, great laundry with washing machine and dryer.
We had our bedlinen changed halfway through our stay which was a welcome gesture.
There were 6 dining chairs, large dining table a 3 seater couch and 2 single armchairs, which gave us plenty of comfort.
Cons: Our beds were not comfortable as so many reviews claimed and we ended up purchasing mattress toppers to get a good night sleep :(
2 out of 3 bedrooms had rubbish left in drawers, a bundle of black hair behind the bedroom drawer and none of us had this colour hair!!
I made Reception aware of this and i simply received an apology- i would have preferred a small gesture of Goodwill instead.
That evening we were preparing a BBQ and wanted to cook on the kitchen stove using a frypan. Again we discovered a caked on dirty frypan left in the cupboard, that should have been picked up by the cleaning staff.
In the end we put EVERYTHING through the dishwasher , for Hygiene sake.
During our stay I had become unwell and decided to rest and sleep. A phonecall from reception informed me that an Electrician was scheduled to change a downlight that morning.I informed the staff at reception in person that i didn't feel comfortable having a trades person in the Apartment as I was alone and unwell. She reassured me she would get in touch with him and cancel.
As I came back to reenter the rear of the Apartment(SlidingDoors) the Electrician had already entered via the front door!!
I asked him why he entered when he was asked the job had cancelled and he simply said "to check the faulty downlight"
I asked him to leave and he very reluctantly did so.
I was battling a terrible headcold so felt very vulnerable and insecure afterwards."
