"Pros: Nice hotel centrally located and a few minutes walk to the general store, local pub and other services. Friendly staff. Beds are alright but have thick memory foam toppers, which I was only so so about. Room was clean and functional. Optional extras for continental breakfast etc were available in room and reasonably priced. Cons: Somewhat dated" ~Rebecca

"Pros: The whole visit was exceptional. Lovely decor, clean apartment, and kitchen was well appointed. The views were absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed the wildlife and the peaceful atmosphere. The people in charge were graceful, welcoming and exceptionally kind hosts. "Pros: We were a group of 14 and there was plenty of space for all of us. The house is super quiet so even when half our group woke very early for the first snow they didn’t wake the rest of us. Great location for Selwyn and the caves/thermal pool." ~Westall
