"Pros: Excellent location. We were able to walk everywhere except a few museums when we used GG (Yerevan Uber). Numerous restaurants close by as well as two supermarkets. Large spacious apartment that was stocked with all the basics. King beds in both rooms were very comfortable and we slept well. Apartment had air conditioning which we did not need as the windows provided an excellent cross breeze. Very responsive host who assisted with several issues within the hour including taking me to the local vegetable market when I couldn’t find my way! A very caring and friendly family. Please note that the apartment is on the sixth floor but the elevator only goes to the to the 5th. You will have to walk the last flight. Also, the apartment is a little tricky to find as the entrance is behind the building. You have to pass through an archway from Tumanyan to access it. As we had a late night flight we chose to use the apartment pick up service which was wonderful. It cost about $5 more then taking a cab and meant pickup from the arrivals gate as well as assistance with luggage on the last flight of stairs well worth it for us. We bought “Yerevan cards” to use while there and it included the return trip to the airport. Cons: The trade off of being in a great location is the noise. The bedrooms are over a busy main street and businesses are open late. If you are a light sleeper you may have difficulty. We had ear plugs and were fine. Paying cash for accommodation is common in Yerevan but a little strange for us. It worked out fine though." ~Joy
