"Pros: Good communication from the owners after I made the booking. We both loved the tranquility of the place. As a sponsor of one of the rescued bears they arranged for us to help put the food out for our sponsor bear Max and then watch as he searched for his food. Cons: The last 7 km to the lodge are not the best road quality wise, I would recommend hiring a jeep style vehicle as they sit higher from the road than a car. We hired a 4x4 but we never needed to engage the 4 wheel drive." ~Lee

"Pros: the place is amazing and exactly what we were looking for. it is in the middle of nowhere (be careful, UCom does not have Network there and inexperienced drivers with a normal car might break stuff) and absolutely worth the effort getting there. the staff is providing an important role to bears in Armenia and you quite literally "sleep with bears". don't be afraid the biggest of their dogs is a literal bear but only wants cuddles. Cons: there is only one network operator available and it is necessary to call the staff in order to open the gate - or you have a small hike up 10min." ~Stefan

"Pros: A luxuary bungalow. Very clean with all the facilities for a very pleasant stay. The surrounding landscapes were breathtaking. The served food is very good. Cons: It’s a little bit to expensive compared to other Armenian facilities. Breakfast or diner were not cleaned up after the meal so dishes stayed in the room for the whole day or night." ~Jelle
