"Pros: Host, Nico, very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room and shared bathroom. Nice breakfast included. Reasonable price. Laundry available as well.
Cons: Challenging to find. Recommend photo showing front of home and surrounding homes to assist in locating." ~Dale
"Pros: Niko and his family were great hosts...Good communication before we arrived with excellent directions and information. Raki and coffee on arrival was a nice touch. Really clean and very comfortable . Breakfast was great too" ~Jennie
"Pros: The friendly and warm welcome of our hosts offset everything that we might not have liked about the accommodation. They rent out the room on the upper floor of their house, which includes a very well-equipped kitchen and an impeccably clean bathroom. As soon as we arrived, we were assured that we could park in the yard with our car, which would be safe in the closed area all night. They immediately offered us coffee, cake and drinks, which was nice after driving all day. They welcomed us extremely kindly, told us a lot about their lovely family, their three beautiful children and everything we were curious about. They helped us in everything, they even gave us an impromptu musical production in half an hour, for which we are especially grateful. Maria prepared a breakfast that would leave nothing to be desired even in a four-star hotel. Thank you very much for the time spent with them and I sincerely hope that I will be able to return to them!
Cons: It took more than half an hour to find the accommodation, because the numbering of the houses in the area is completely irregular, but the host cannot do anything about that. Google map shows the place a few hundred meters away, finally a local guy helped me find the address. I wouldn't call the room spacious, but there are beds for four people, which I have no complaints about. We couldn't find a socket for charging the phones inside the room, but I solved it in another room.
The bathroom is a few meters away, it does not open directly from the room and there is no curtain or cabin around the shower tray, so the floor will inevitably be wet after showering. I write all of this just for the sake of fair reporting, because I admit that there may simply be other customs and traditions than our own." ~Zsolt
